Not everything we build is a home. Cabin John Builders takes on true commercial construction, from a working distillery on a 29-acre agro-tourism property in Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve to a dedicated event barn. Projects like these demand the same craftsmanship as any custom home, along with a very different set of structural, mechanical and code requirements.

That range shows up closer to home too. Elaborate screened porches and outdoor rooms. Large-scale landscape renovations complete with pools and outbuildings. Residential structures built for commercial purposes. Increasingly, complex projects take unique shapes, and they need a general contractor comfortable working across categories. Whatever the shape, the approach doesn’t change: design collaboration with your architect, open-book pricing, a dedicated construction manager and owners directly involved from start to finish, with the right specialty team built around each project.
